PERMANENT POSITION

Rotorua,
Bay of Plenty
Driver / Stores / Yards person / Deliveries
Our centrally located Rotorua client requires a yard person for their multi-site facility. Preference will be given to someone with previous forklift, stores, delivery experience from within the Steel / Timber Industry but someone with all the required licences will be considered. The role is wide and varied so flexibility is a must. Some mechanical knowledge and ability to recognize different sizes, profiles and shapes important
To be successful you will be required to have:
* MUST HOLD CURRENT CLASS 2, OSH FORKLIFT AND F ENDORSMENT.
* Physically fit as heavy (25kg) lifting involved
* Good numerical skills and some computer experience with attention to detail
* Inwards and outwards goods experience
* Ability to communicate effectively within a noisy environment
* A can-do attitude and flexibility in work hours
* Turn up on time every day fit for work
Advantageous experiences
Preference to Side Lift and Long Reach forklift experience
Practical background in engineering or building trade
Ability to differentiate sizes, multi task, and prioritize time.
You will be of sober habits able to pass a pre-employment drug test and capable of working flexible hours at time
