Leading the way in materials handling equipment from design to manufacture, offering top quality turnkey solutions across a range of industries, our client is in growth mode. Having recently expanded the business due to growth they have an amazing opportunity for a workshop supervisor to step in and lead the small team based in Matamata.

As workshop supervisor you will


• Be responsible for planning, forecasting, and scheduling of workshop works
• Ensure productive utilisation of labour & material resources & delivery times
• Assisting designers and project managers with quoting work
• Some aspects of project management, and WIP reports.
• Manging a team of 4
• Lead from the front, you will be an exceptional tradesman and still enjoy rolling up your sleeves
• Provide a high level of commitment to eliminating OHS hazards in the workplace.
• Be a big picture thinker with the ability to steam lines processes and systems.


You will need

• Be an experienced fitter with a minimum of 8 years’ experience
• Preferably you will have leadership/supervisory experience already
• To be innovative in your approach to systems, process, and production!
• The ability to drive and motivate a team
• Strong computer skills and ease of use across technology.
