We are currently recruiting on behalf of multiple Christchurch based engineering firms for welders assistants. The successful candidate ideally will have had previous metal work experience. We have both site and workshop roles available.

The successful candidate will ideally

• have completed a pre trade course or engineering course (such as welding or fabrication).
• or have proven hand tools or welding experience

  Duties will include:

  • Assisting a fabricator welder
  • Grinding welds
  • Drilling holes
  • Marking and Measuring
  • Cutting
