We are currently recruiting on behalf of a of Christchurch based engineering firm for a welders assistant. The successful candidate must have had previous metal work experience.

The successful candidate will ideally

• have completed an apprenticeship, pre trade course or engineering course (such as welding or fabrication).
• have proven hand tools/welding experience

  Duties will include:

  • Assisting a fabricator welder
  • Drilling
  • Grinding
  • Measuring
  • Cutting

    Our current role is ongoing on an afternoon shift and has potential for an apprenticeship in the future. Hours will be 3.30pm-Midnight.
