The opportunity!

Reporting to the Factory Manager of Nelson branch, this role is to ensure all aspects of the movement and unloading of Inwards Goods meet/exceed the Warehouse Team's KPIs. Working days are Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:00pm.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Actively participate in developing and reviewing SOP's for your area of the business. Focussed on a process of continuous improvement.
• Clear on the Branch Strategy with milestones communicated and achieved according to plan and Performance KPI's are met.
• LTSA compliance is achieved. You understand the requirements and take actions to meet the requirements.
• Ensuring daily DIFOT targets are met.
• FOCR targets are met.
• Labour cost to sales targets are met.
• Sales growth exceeds market growth.
• Company assets are maintained in excellent order and are well presented. Service regimes are established and met. Any faulty or damaged assets are immediately identified and communicated to your Manager along with an estimate to repair or replace and your recommendation.
• CSR Way targets are met
• Stock levels are minimised, recorded and updated as per agreed processes
• All financial activity is within your delegated authority
• Company, Customer and Employee information is kept secure and confidential.
• The business units - office, despatch/ warehouse areas and yards are orderly, tidy and well presented. Trucks are well presented and clean.

  Skills & Qualifications

  To be considered for this role, you will be known for your willingness to learn activities associated with the Despatch/Warehouse Team; Enjoys working in a team in achieving operational targets and;

  • Have experience working in a similar position within a fast paced environment;
  • Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) Focused;
  • Team player;
  • Innovative;
  • Customer Service oriented;
  • Good attention to detail with eye in maintaining company's high-quality standards;
  • Glass experience preferred but not essential if you have the right attitude and willing to learn.
