Job description

Our client is a supplier of quality hardware products to the building sector, and they currently require a Warehouse Manager to take oversee the day to day running of their Auckland based warehouse facility. We are seeking a natural leader with proven experience managing an automated ‘Pick and Pack’ warehouse facility, and overseeing a team of six permanent warehouse staff.

You will be a results orientated individual, with the ability to lead and inspire others to operate as a cohesive team unit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Day to day management of the warehouse operations
  • Inventory management, analysis & reporting
  • Management, leadership & training for all warehouse personnel
  • Delivery of agreed operational KPIs
  • Management & Liaison with transport contractors
  • Overseeing and reporting all stocktake activity

Required Skills & Experience

  • Tertiary qualification in warehouse or supply chain management
  • Proven experience managing or supervising a busy warehouse
  • Natural leadership ability
  • High level of initiative & attention to detail
  • Customer focus with a high level of urgency
  • Results orientated
