OneStaff are New Zealand's leading industrial recruitment agency and we currently have work available for candidates in warehousing and logistics. Our client is a FMCG leader and has had substantial growth in business over the last year and as a result is looking for Warehouse Labourers for their busy warehouse operation.

The role:

They are looking for staff who are flexible to work in different areas of the business. You will be proactive, hardworking, a team player and willing to learn. You will have excellent attention to detail and be able to 10-15kgs repetitively. You will be safety conscious as there will be forklifts operating around you in the warehouse.

You will be working alongside others and you will be answerable to team goals and objectives. You could be involved in one or more of the following tasks:

• Reach Truck / Forklift Operator work
• Devanning - unloading boxes of product onto pallets
• Pre-pack labour - making cardboard boxes for merchandise displays and products
• Pick Packing - picking product and packing them as per customer order
• Labelling -putting labels on product in boxes in their Living & Homeware area
• Box dropping- Lifting boxes of product and placing on pallet ready for distribution

  It is preferred if you have had experience in warehousing however this is not essential to be successful in the role. These roles can be ongoing however you must be comfortable with temporary assignments as the nature of this work can be seasonal.

    Days & Hours:

    Our client is operational between the hours of 5am - 11pm Monday to Friday. You will need to flexible as you may be required to start work at either 5am , 9am or 1.30pm depending on which area you are working in.

    You will need to pass the following pre-employment screening:

    • Pre-employment drug test
    • Ministry of Justice background check (some driving charges accepted)
    • ACC history check
    • Driver licence (minimum full) and own reliable transport
