Job description

We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and physically fit Warehouse Assistant for our client in Mount Wellington. This is a temporary position with a good chance of going permanent for the right candidate. Our client is a leading distributor of finished and manufactured timber across New Zealand.

About the Role:

  • Picking and packing orders of timber
  • Heavy lifting - can weigh between 25-30kgs.
  • Wrapping orders into bundles - weighing up to 40kgs
  • Monday to Friday, 6.00 AM - 4.00 PM (start time flexible)
  • Potential overtime work on Saturday 6.00 AM - 1.00 PM
  • Joining a small team of 8 warehouse staff
  • Pay rate: $20 - 21 based on experience

      Suitable applicants must meet the following criteria:

      • Physically fit as heavy lifting required
      • Able to commit to full-time work
      • Reliable and punctual
      • Knowledge of timber or construction/building experience is ideal
      • Full Class 1 license and reliable transport to get to work
      • Able to follow instructions
      • Forklift license (preferred but not essential)
