We are seeking a warehouse logistics star that has previously worked for about 5 years in a 3PL environment who wants a new challenge to step into a busy environment and demonstrate a desire to achieve!
Our client is seeking a vibrant and organised personality that can work at a stores level and has the ability to operate as a 2IC. Attributes the company is looking for is someone who is passionate, adaptable, has an attention for detail, understand business costing and strong leadership skills.
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate your warehousing, distribution or logistics skills and will be happy to work in an environment that can at times be fast-paced, with product that can also be heavy (related lifting equipment supplied, i.e., forklift etc). The overall objective is to support the Site Manager by ensuring the warehouse operates efficiently, profitably and in accordance with agreed standards, and also be able to step in to cover for the site manager during absences.
Requirements of the role include:
- managing the labour resource and provide training
- being confident in the management of clients and their orders
- Stock control
- the ability to complete all site specific administration
- being health & safety conscious and can communicate both externally and internally in a professional and timely manner.
In return for this you will be remunerated according to your experience and potential, with a payrise every 12 months, life insurance from start and health insurance after 6 months.
