Our Client is a dynamic and trusted New Zealand Civil Construction business with a 'customer number one' focus and a team of over 1700 staff. They service a range of projects from major infrastructure, road maintenance, regional infrastructure and general civil construction works.

We are currently looking for a number of candidates who have a background in civil construction and machine operating experience.

What we are looking for:

• Class 1/WTR - roller operators
• Class 2/WTR - digger operators
• Class 4 - water cart drivers
• Class 4/WTR - excavator operators

  Note: all driver/operators will have an element of physical labour work to them.

  As these roles are all operating roles, duties will involve: pre-start checks, machine operation, general labour (digging holes, site preparation), machine maintenance, site clean-up, the list goes on.

    These roles are based in the Manawatu area and you can expect to work Monday to Friday (some Saturdays) anytime from 6am-6pm.

    You must be able to pass the following pre-employment screening:

    • Must pass a pre-employment drug test
    • Must have own reliable transport and current drivers licence
    • Have a clean criminal history - some driving charges are ok
    • Excellent work related references
