Key responsibilities:

• Execute business strategy at optimal cost, time frame and quality through the operational plan
• Conduct toolbox tasks and safety meetings for area of responsibility
• Assist in the preparation of weekly and monthly management reports
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, administration and finance business policies
• Responsible for ensuring the productivity, safety and work quality of work groups
• Ensure employees complete pre-start and post-run checks
• Prepare work rosters and allocate employees to the roster on daily basis
• Investigate and report customer complaints
• Responsibility for ensuring the accuracy and responsibility of customer usage data
• Ensure compliance for all cash handling and procedure
• Maintain excellent relationships with transfer Station Owners and customers

  The successful candidate:
  

  • Proven supervisory capability operating a Transfer Station
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage priorites and deadlines
  • Sound understanding of mobile plant
  • WTR and Full class 1 and 2 licences preferred
  • Operator tickets/competency for the following is desireable:
  • • Loader
    • Excavator
    • Dump Truck
    • Water cart
