OneStaff are looking for reliable individuals that are interested in working in Civil Construction industry as Traffic Controllers for our busy Clients who are only getting busier! The summer season is here and with many exciting projects around the corner, there are already too many vacant roles in this growing industry to fill. We need people who are looking for a new challenge!
The role:
Traffic Control: You are the men and women along roads and highways who help traffic keep flowing through a construction zone, despite a shutdown of lanes. TC's often work in teams, with each person controlling the flow of traffic in a certain direction. You are in charge of keeping not only the public safe but also your workmates that are operating or labouring on the construction sites.
If you do not have a current level 1 Traffic Control Certificate then we are happy to assist successful candidates in gaining the relevant qualification before starting in this role. You will also be required to sit a ConstructSafe course to work with our civil construction clients - both at the cost of the individual.
If you have a Class 2 licence that would be an added bonus.
This role does at times require long days in all kinds of weather so you must be comfortable working in the outdoors in rain, hail or shine.
Days and hours:
This work will start in a temporary/oncall capacity but may have the opportunity to turn into ongoing full time work for the right candidates. We have some flexibility with this work and can work around other commitments.
Civil Construction hours can range anywhere between 6am-6pm, Monday to Friday and can include some weekend work.
