Due to expansion of their production facilities, my client is looking for an experienced Toolmaker to join their toolmaking team in Hamilton.

This is a highly varied role where you will be designing and developing tooling used for manufacturing a wide range of products of various specifications and materials.

As you a Toolmaker, you will be using CAD/ CAM software to design tools, moulds, jigs, etc., and use a wide range of both CNC and manual machines to produce them.

This is a highly specialised trade - you will need to have extensive working as a toolmaker. If you have only worked as a fitter or CNC operator unfortunately this role will not be suitable for you, but please do feel free to get in touch for other potential opportunities nationwide.

* Extensive experience in toolmaking
* A relevant trade qualification
* CAD/ CAM software, e.g. Edgecam, Solidworks, Mastercam, etc.
* Extensive in both CNC and manual machining (lathes, mills, etc.)
* Maintenance and problem solving skills
* Has a continuous improvement mindset
