About the Role

As part of striving towards a truly Agile ICT environment, this role has been created to help the Testing and DBA teams work more collaboratively. For this reason, you will be a true people leader, able to bring your 6 direct reports along the journey of change. You will be set goals and KPI’s for your team, delegate tasks, oversee operational performance and conduct regular performance evaluations. You will also have the opportunity to develop an evaluation program and provide motivation and coaching to lift your team to excel.

This is primarily a people management role but requires someone with enough technical nous to provide hands-on assistance or overview when required.

What we are looking for in your CV

  • People Leadership, facilitation and coordination skills
  • You must have managed staff before
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge and experience in testing best practise based on an agile approach
  • Knowledge and experience of automation tools and the potential power of these tools in both the database and testing area
  • Knowledge and experience of database administration and the roles required in that area
  • Knowledge and experience about managing environments e.g. Dev, Test, UAT, Pre-Prod, Project, Production.
