    Our client, a respected organisation with an enviable reputation for importing and distributing premium brand bathroom fittings is looking for a dynamic individual to represent them in the Bay of Plenty/Waikato region.

    We're not just looking for someone to flick off plastic taps and plugs. We're looking for someone who understands how to tell a story, paint a picture and ultimately, take their clients on a journey.

    About the Role:

    This role will focus on the specification of high-end products through synergistic relationships with those who influence the sales and specification of mid to upper-end bathroom ware products.

    Developing relationships of trust with key stakeholders including independent distributors, architects, designers, specifiers, plumbers and end-users; our ideal candidate will have proven sales skills and a strong commitment to achieving sales targets.

    Previous experience selling to this type of client would be an advantage as would great connections in the Bay of Plenty or Waikato. You may have a background in the plumbing industry or come from a similar role in a related industry sector, regardless, you will have an appreciation of premium products and how best to promote them.

    Candidates should possess:

    • The ability to identify and build relationships with key stakeholders including independent distributors, architects, designers, specifiers, plumbers and customers within their merchant channel.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills and proven relationship building skills
    • Demonstrated experience in building and managing a Sales Territory
    • The ability to develop commercially viable sales plans in line with the overall company sales strategy
    • An appreciation of the importance of networking and the flexibility to represent the organisation at various networking or trade events
