Currently seeking applicants with intermediate experience with operating a Telehandler to assist on the largest wastewater project in NZ . The successful applicant will be responsible for offloading containers and moving product around the Mangere construction site.

The role requires the successful candidate to:

* Understand and assess all hazards relating to operation
* Complete prechecks and prepare equipment before use.
* Safely operate the Telehandler to reach the common goal of the team.

The overall project is a 13km tunnel which will stretch from western springs to the Mangere wastewater treatment site collecting wastewater along the way via sewers and drop shafts.

Skills required:

* Preferably a Class 1 license with WTR endorsements
* Successful completion of unit standard 23667 (Operate a Telehandler)
* Previous experience on a construction site preferred however candidates from the agricultural industry will still be considered.

Hours of work depend on the project however would generally be from 06.00 to 18.00 Monday to Friday with Optional weekend work.

All candidates are required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and are required to have two work related references.
