My client is currently going through an exciting program of change, building the next generation of software solutions and currently looking for a Technical Writer to join the hub that is at the core of their business in East Auckland.

You’ll work closely with Product Owners, Test Analysts, Developers, Subject Matter Experts and other Technical Writers to write and create user manuals, administration guides and reference content for their range of products. Experience working in an Agile environment would be advantageous.

About You:

Your key skills

• A talent for translating geek-speak into simple, understandable, usable and comprehensive documents.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven experience of working within an Agile methodology and have prior experience in working to agile delivery timelines.

Your experience

• At least 2+ years of experience in working within a technical writing position, ideally within a software organisation.
• Proven experience in creating user manuals, administration guides, training material and reference content.
• Knowledge of information mapping and single-sourcing on documentation platforms like Madcap Flare or Author-It.
• It is advantageous if you have experience with software programming or scripting experience.
