Here is an opportunity to join a well-known leading, privately owned packaging and resource recovery company, with more than 120 sites across Australia, New Zealand and Thailand and trading offices across Asia, Europe and the USA. This is a global leader in the packaging, paper and resource recovery industries. The main objective of the role is to lead technical and quality aspects of the company in Hamilton's manufacturing facility. This role will be responsible for the leadership and management of Technical Department on the site, encompassing Training, Continuous Improvement, Systems Compliance (ISO, FSSC & 5S), Laboratory Management, Quality and Technical Expertise to internal & eternal stake holders.

The successful applicant will ideally come from a Technical/Mechanical industry or similar management environment to be able to handle this busy role. You will be dealing a lot around problem solving, technical issues and then communicating this back to the team.

You must have:

• Current Full Drivers Licence
• Excellent communication skills
• Leadership and Management with a background in operations skills
• Manufacturing supervision experience and the ability to build teams with succession planning and drive a result driven culture
• Stakeholder management internal/External
• Manufacturing/Production Industry experience with strong computer systems - MS suite
• Quality systems and process
• Continuous improvement /Lean manufacturing
• A commitment to meeting the needs of customers
