You will play a vital role in helping swap these Smart-Meters over and be known as a Modem Technician.

Key responsibilities:

• Visiting sites to replace the existing modems with new ones to the standards set by our client.
• Recording visitations, procedures and anything of importance that may arise in your visit
• Meeting and greeting people in their homes and businesses before you carry out the work
• Explaining processes to the customers and helping answer any queries they may have

  About you:

  • Full training is provided on how to install the modems and how to deal with situations that you may come across in customer's homes so you must be willing to learn.
  • Good general technical knowledge is a plus, you will be working on technology and knowing the basics about electricity is necessary.
  • An active and healthy individual who is happy to be outdoors as well as indoors.
  • Good communication skills to your team and to the people whose premises you enter.
  • A team player, you'll be working alongside electricians and other technicians to get this momentous job complete.
  • Must hold a FULL NZ license with no restrictions and own a car.
  • You must be very reliable, the team is small and relying on you to help complete the job.

    About the job:

    • Full paid training given, mentoring during your first two weeks to ensure you carry out the work correctly.
    • Full PPE provided
    • Up to 10 hours a day, Monday-Friday.
    • Weekly pay, pay rate $21 an hour with the chance to increase based on performance
    • Start dates 28^{th September/27th October}
    • A real opportunity to progress to an ongoing permanent role IF you are successful within the first 3 months as this is a huge project that is just beginning.
    • Travel expenses are covered as you travel from each area
