Our client is a prominent building material manufacturer that is recruiting for a hands-on Team Leader with experience in a factory environment. The role requires someone that will be willing to work rotating shifts.

The ideal candidate will come from a production background with team management experience.

You will ideally be technically strong with people management skills. Experience in leading teams on shifts and creating shift rosters will be ideal.

You will have strong organisational skills and proven experience working under pressure. You will be focussed on motivating your team to deliver quality products and you will understand manufacturing processes.

Ideal Skills Required:

* Production management
* Leadership skills
* Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes in a production environment
* Knowledge of tooling and machines in the steel industry
* Excellent communication skills
* The ability to multi task, respond quickly and prioritise your workload
* Ability to lead a team and manage work flow
* Strong understanding of extrusions, aluminium, CNC, sheet metal etc.
* Minimum 3 years experience in a similar engineering environment
