Our client provides industry leading civil work to sites all over New Zealand. They are looking for Survey Field Assistants to join their busy teams on site in Wellington.
While your experience does not have to draw from years in the industry, this position is ideal for post graduates to get yourself into your chosen industry and work alongside, and assist experienced Surveyors on large sites.
You will need to be reliable and enthusiastic about your work. This will include site surveying, chain man duties, marking out and equipment care. Some office work including administration and calculating may also be required of you.
Team work and self management are a must in order to help achieve project specifications and results.
This is an opportunity for you to learn, get technical experience and work with great equipment.
You will have:
* Bachelor of Surveying preferred, or equivalent field experience
* Excellent track record of collaboration within teams
* Fantastic communication skills
* inquisitive nature and interested in maths and numbers
* Experience in health and safety as well relevant office experience
* Full, Clean Drivers Licence
This role is intended to start immediately, however we will consider anyone with notice periods in current employment.
You will also need to provide 2 recent work referees and pass a pre employment drug test in addition to a construct safe qualification.
