This could be the opportunity you have been looking for! Our client is based in Ngatea, 20 mins from Thames, 45 mins from Pukekohe and and hour out of Matamata - SO i like to think for the local area this is a rare to market role.

Our client is a high level manufacturing & production facility for bespoke transportation product supplied across New Zealand. This transformational company is looking for a Supply Chain Manager to level up their team with the potential to growth into senior management in time.

Working to 4 core KPI's your duties will include:

* Plan, coordinate, implement and forecast all Supply Chain requirements to meet SLA's
* Have a strong focus on continuous improvement & implementation of lean systems
* Manage, Train and Empower your people
* Supplier reviews, tender management and negotiation.
* Working in partnership with operations, warehousing and sales teams to ensure correct forecasting and stock holdings
* Ensuring quality procedures and KPI's are aheared to.
* Implementation of processes important and new SOPS where requited
* Manage inventory, demand planning & PSL's - Trend Reporting
* Managerial input into cross functional processes - be creative!
* Book & Manage all inwards & outwards shipments, domestically & international
* Be an active part of the strategic leadership team

About you:

You will have a minimum for 7 years Supply Chain experience, with a preference to a 2 of years in leadership. Exposure to lean manufacturing principles is a must, and exposure to a fabrication manufacturing environment is a bonus. You will be a switched on candidate whom is always focused on continuous improvement and challenging the norm is your goal! We like disrupter's! This is a PROGRESSIONAL ROLE within this fast growing locally owned business.

You will be great at building internal and external relationships, enjoy a laugh and have an excellent work ethic.
