Job description
3 Month fixed term supervisor role with potential to go permanent.
This role is for a logistics and freight company in Mangere. They require a supervisor for 3 months with the potential to go permanent.
About your experience:
- Must have Perishable experience
- Supervising staff mainly working in Chilled (<10 degrees C) and Frozen (-20 degrees C) environments handling imports and exports of perishable goods (ie meat, seafood, vegetables)
- Supervise Teams of 6-8 on a shift. Currently 7 days across 1 shift however will move to 2
- Needs good working knowledge on RACA, MPI, RPM
- Good management skills, dealing with people, managing work load, resource and time management, disciplinary skills
- Attention to detail
- Clean record (Police, Driving Record), Honest, reliable, good work ethic.
- Good command of English (Verbal, Written)
- Shift spans 7 days so must be available to work weekends (alternate)
- Air-freight and Sea Freight handling experience
