Our client is a large manufacturer of specialised equipment in its field and has supplied many industrial projects in New Zealand and overseas. You will be working in their purpose built manufacturing and distribution centre.

They are looking for an Experienced Storeperson in the warehouse and distribution centre of their Christchurch branch to start middle of January. This is a physically demanding role so you will need the required fitness and strength to carry out your duties.

Heavy lifting will be involved with use of forklift in tight spaces so must have previous experience driving and operating a forklift.

Duties:

• Packing, loading and unloading of stock.
• Forklift Driving
• Stock Taking
• Stock Management of Components
• Preparing reports and quotes for Store Supervisor

  Essential Skills

  • Familiar with warehouse environment
  • Working in a 5S-Lean manufacturing environment
  • Previous Stores Experience
  • Class 1 Driver licence with F and Osh
  • Physically fit
  • Great communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Be able to forward plan and meet deadlines
  • Basic Math Skills
