Job description

Our client are a reputable local engineeirng firm. Due to significant growth we are currently recruiting for an experienced Storeperson for a 2IC role. This role will report directly to the Store Team Leader and have approx. 4 subordinate staff.

The successful candidate will require the following:

  • Minimum 5 years warehousing/stores or logistics background
  • A high level of computer literacy with good word processing skills
  • A high numeracy level in relation to inventory/warehousing/purchasing & stock control
  • Inventory management system experience using ERP, SAP or simlar
  • Good communication and people skills
  • Previous supervising experience is an advantage
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills

    • An effective communicator, with strong fluency in English language and comprehension
    • Self-motivation to work unsupervised and achieve production outputs
    • Full awareness of all Health and Safety requirements and compliance
    • Excellent planning and organisational skills
