Our client was established over 120 years ago and continues to provide care within the community to support overburdened hospitals, across the Canterbury, Nelson, Marlborough and Wellington regions.

They are seeking a Stock Control Officer who has extensive stores experience and who is looking for a permanent job opportunity.

Due to the nature of the role, you must be physically fit and able to assist with labouring duties around the warehouse (lifting up to 15kgs). Strong communication skills - both verbal and written are a must, as at times, you will be required to greet customers at reception or assist with phone queries in a professional manner.

Duties include:

  • Stock control and monitoring (computer inventory system)
  • Management of all inwards/outwards goods
  • Pick packing orders
  • Maintain a clean & tidy warehouse
  • Ensure all health & safety responsibilities are adhered to
  • Delivering product within the community (class 1 vehicle)

    The successful applicant will have:

    • Minimum 1 years' stock control experience
    • Full clean class 1 Drivers Licence & own reliable transport
    • Good computer skills
    • Ability to lift heavy items safely (up to 15kgs)
    • Strong organisational skills
    • Friendly and approachable
    • Ability to work within a team and provide strong customer service

        Based in Central Christchurch, you will be required to work Monday to Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm.
