* $32 -$40 / hour based on experience
* Overtime available
* Permanent position, Monday to Friday

Our well established client has been operating in Tauranga for over 30 years and has become the most trusted supplier when it comes to steel and stainless-steel fabrication, maintenance and machine shop services of choice in the area.
About the role:
As an experienced Stainless-Steel Fabricator, you will be using specialised equipment to create products that meet specific design requirements. Whether is metal fabrication, stainless steel welding, maintenance engineering, or custom machining in the CNC Machine Shop, this role requires reading, understanding, and interpreting blueprints and different assembly requirement.
If you are ready to take this role, you should:
* Have welding experience, including TIG, MIG, and Arc, and you should meet high standards for quality and precision.
* Be able to effectively communicate and collaborate with clients, ensuring their needs are met.
* You'll have the ability to lead and coordinate a small team during installations and shutdowns, ensuring projects run smoothly.
* With a keen eye for detail, you should be able to fabricate and weld stainless pipe and tube spools based on sketches and CAD drawings.
* You will be skilled in fabricating and welding various components, including pipe, sheet metal ducting, and hoppers, using both stainless and aluminium.
* Experience in welding to ASME 9 would be a bonus
* Excellent time management and communication skills
* Have a can-do attitude and work with initiative
* Hold a Class 1 Current Drivers licence
* Minimum 5 years Trade experience
You must be eligible to work in New Zealand, be physically fit and be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
