Job description

Our client in the government sector is seeking a Solution Architect to start ASAP for an initial 4 month contract!

The high level design has already been done (last year). They need a very capable person to be the translator between tech and business, lead the tech stream for delivery, work with the specialists and pull all the technical documentations together.

Outlined below are the requirements needed for this project:

  • Take responsibility for technical deliverables; provide technical input to assist defect triage during testing and establish the Technical Handover documentation which forms part of the Support model.
  • Design / Technical Documentation for handover/receipting into production:
    Own the technical outcomes and liaise with vendors and MoH staff to achieve this, through a combination of aggregation of vendor docs, processes, designs, etc. and ensuring that they provide the level of detail required by ICT. This may also include conducting Design Reviews and / or facilitating the documentation through Ministry technical review boards.
  • Provide technical insight into defect resolution. This may include investigation/resolution of the ERP system performance. This will include documenting any changes made by the organisation or vendors to networks.
  • Document or provide technical input into the project Security Risk Assessment and provide technical input to the overall Security C&A process
  • Ability to provide the project with guidance and insight into standards and processes. Or have a level of experience that allows you to efficiently identify the relevant information by consultation with the relevant ICT teams.
