Our client is a nation wide company that specialise in domestic/ commercial equipment. They are now looking for a mechanic to join their servicing department in their busy central Christchurch shop.

You will need to have excellent hands-on mechanical skills and is able to work at a fast pace. You will need to use your engineering aptitude to find faults quickly. Prior experience working in a similar servicing/ hands-on role in essential.

* Mechanically minded
* Good hands-on experience in repairing equipment
* Able to diagnose faults, use hand tools and power tools
* Basic electrical knowledge is a bonus
* Able to work unsupervised and work under pressure
