Job description

This role is with a national level company that is looking to expand their Auckland Operations from current locations in Otahuhu and Mangere.

You will have had a number of years of proven experience running teams of between 5 to 20 direct reports in a 3PL Warehousing environment. You will be reporting to the Senior Management team and be expected to deliver quality and efficiency gains throughout the following areas: Site Operations, Compliance, Financial Management, Leadership and Staff Management.

In this role you will be driven to engage all team members, through goal setting and effective communication to not only achieve, but to exceed, this business' expectations. Multi-tasking in a high-pressure environment will be second nature to you and you won't be daunted by the challenge.

To be considered for this role you will have:

  • High aptitude in commercial decision making, understanding causes and effects and the role investigation plays in making the right decision.
  • Commercial decision-making skills - demonstrating an understanding of business operations.
  • Proven Client Management experience.
  • Proven Operations Management experience.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills and the ability to relate constructively to all levels of the business.
  • Proven experience to plan, undertake and finish activities and to achieve high-quality results.
  • A high level of computer literacy - MS Office, H&S related technical applications and systems.
  • The ability to pass a Pre-Employment Drug Testing
