Our client, one of New Zealand’s largest packhouses is seeking for an experienced Shift Quality Controller that can join their amazing Quality Team.

This role is all about Leadership and coaching, as your responsibilities will be ensuring the regular inspections and audits performed by the quality team are completed in accordance with market requirements. This role is key when it comes to meeting site and company KPIs targets.

You will be working in a fast-paced environment through the whole post-harvest season. Your leadership skills will help you to train seasonal staff within short time frame, and make sure the team is consistently achieving targets throughout the season.

In this role you will need to have:
* Being an excellent team player, with excellent communication skills.
* Having the talent of interpret and convey technical information into easily understandable terms.
* A good level of computer literacy, experience using FreshCool and Excel.
* The ability to understand and achieve cost and quality targets.
* Excellent time management and great decision-making skills.
* Flexible mind set and strong resilience when working under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience with quality systems and auditing.
