Our client is a nationwide food manufacturers with many plants across the country. They generate a large amount of revenue each year through export. They are now seeking a qualified Services Engineer to be based in their plant in Hastings.

As a Services Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, upgrades, commissioning, and improvement for all the utilities and services for the production plant, which can include boilers, refrigeration, HVAC, water treatment, etc.

This is a highly specialised role and you will to be qualified and experienced with ammonia based industrial refrigeration in particular. Ideally we are seeking those who have worked in a similar role in manufacturing, however, those in a technical role from a cold store background or similar could also be very suitable.

As part of the in-house engineering team, you will be given plenty of support and opportunities to grow.

In summary, the requirements for this role are,

* An EnChem certificate is a must
* A mechanical engineering qualification or similar
* Extensive experience in boilers and industrial refrigeration
* Good hands-on skills and a continuous improvement mindset
* Health and safety concious
