Service Technician / Mechanic

Hamilton Based

Urgently looking for a trade qualified Technician who is looking for long term permanent role based in Hamilton. This is an opportunity for an experienced and fully qualified Technician / Mechanic.

To be successful, you need to have the following:

  • National Certificate in Heavy Automotive Engineering / Diesel Mechanic
  • Significant experience in planned and reactive maintenance
  • Experience or willingness to learn all aspects of vehicle diagnostic equipment
  • Experience with BPW, SAF, & ROR axles and suspension
  • Good electrical fault finding and diagnosis of lights, EBS & ABS issues
  • Strong mechanical diagnostic problem solving skills
  • Carry out engine repairs and transmission maintenance
  • Strong knowledge in servicing and repairing
  • Significant experience in planned and reactive maintenance
  • You enjoy being part of a team environment but have ability to work unsupervised
  • Current Full Drivers Licence
  • WOF Authority
