Our client with 30 full time employees is a well-established Invercargill based company who pride themselves on being Southlands leading specialists in Hydraulics and Pneumatics. The hub of the company is based in Invercargill with branches also in Dunedin and Cromwell.

The Job

Specialising in Hydraulics and Pneumatics this particular position has a huge capacity for on the job learning. There is an enormous amount of variety in the role and will predominantly be site based work within the Southland region. Every day will be different and can present with a new set of challenges. The work can take place anywhere from forestry sites to major dams & power stations to Gold Mines, Commercial fishing vessels and large Industrial businesses and will involve installations, servicing, over hauling, testing and preventative maintenance to an extraordinarily diverse range of clients with an equally diverse range of needs.

About You

Ideally you will have previous Hydraulic and Pneumatic experience or a Trade Qualification in Mechanics, Fitter Welding or Fitter turning or exposure to some Hydraulic and Pneumatic work. You may be looking for a position that provides more autonomy, more challenge and more variety and work you can take full ownership of. You will;

• Have the ability to work outside normal working hours & respond to call out work when required.
• Have a good down to earth sense of humour
• Physically fit and able
• Have a full Drivers Licence
