Service Delivery Manager

IT and Telecommunications

Job description

The Teaching Council is the professional body for all teachers. We are independent, and act in the interests of teachers to enable and support leadership and direction for the education profession.

A new role has been created within the organisation which is pivotal for the delivery of their new Salesforce CRM. This new platform will provide a core service in establishing and maintaining teacher registration, standards for ongoing practice and criteria for the issue of practising certificates.

You’ll be asked to deliver a combination of skills which cover both service delivery and product management to ensure optimisation of Salesforce and other core business systems.  As a multi-agency platform, you’ll be liaising closely with other agencies to leverage the benefits from using similar applications or applied lessons learned to the Council.

While prior knowledge of Salesforce would be extremely beneficial, is it not essential.  However, is it key that you have prior, first-hand knowledge, of similar system integration.

Other key experience we’re seeking would include:

  • Use your experience and passion to ensure the Council’s needs are being met, or exceeded, by successfully applying technology-led solutions to achieve the desired business outcomes
  • A strong desire to continuously improve service delivery and to focus beyond todays challenges to identify future opportunities
  • Be capable of understanding technical problems and communicating those clearly to staff in a non-technical manner
  • Experience working in Microsoft-centric IT environments
  • Ability to write a good business case that is viewed by key stakeholders

This opportunity will give you the chance to play a key role within the Council, collaborating closely with external and internal partners. There are centrally located offices with a superb culture and environment.

If you have the skills and experience as listed above, send in your application (word format ideally) by clicking APPLY.  For further information, please contact Chris Kent from Beyond Recruitment on chris.kent@beyond.co.nz . Quote job number 102542.
