Job description
Our client is a specialist manufacturer and supplier of insulation products.
They are in need of a Senior Technical Machine Operator to look after a complex production line. A part of this role includes monitoring the melter, so experience in working with Scada Control Systems and using other monitoring systems would be advantageous.
This role requires you to work 12-hour rotating shifts, both day and night shift, 4 days on and 4 days off (2 days d/s and 2 days n/s).
You will be required to feed the raw materials into loader containers, so experience with utilising a forklift and front-end loader would be ideal, but is not a deal breaker.
The ideal candidate will be someone who can stay calm under pressure, can multi task and prioritise. So you will be capable of using sound judgement and handling unforeseen events.

Candidates who are good with Health and Safety housekeeping, are Technically capable and a quick study, who come from a metal/steel or glass manufacturing background with at least 3 to 4 years experience in any of these production fields, are invited to apply online today!
