Your main duties and responsibilities include:
- Accurately estimate and prepare detailed cost estimates and quotations
- Prepare tenders, offers of service and contract documentation
- Support the project management team with costing advice
- Manage the procurement of subcontract and supplier packages
- Preparation of monthly financial contract review process
- Oversee the accurate pricing, agreement and processing of project variations all to meet the contract timelines.
- Work with clients and their representatives to meet, and where appropriate anticipate and influence their needs
To be successful in this role you will have the following attributes:
- Knowledge of contractual obligations
- At least 5-7 years previous experience in Quantity Surveying
- Ability to plan, monitor and control cost
- Excellent knowledge of construction materials
- Disciplined and self motivated with a positive approach to work
- Customer focused and committed to providing a high quality of service
- Effective interpersonal skills and be able to work as part of a team
