Are you an experienced Civil Construction Project manager that is currently looking for a new challenge, and even possibly a change of scenery? We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join a team in Tauranga, where you will lead an experienced team of project managers across an exciting new project and report to the regional Construction Manager on a regular basis.

About the role:

As our Senior Project Manager, you'll be producing project methodology, budgets, and programs. You will also be:

  • Working in conjunction with the Construction Manager to estimate and tender for new projects
    • Overall responsibility for specific project implementation and delivery
      • Directing and leading Site Works Managers, teams as well as sub-contractors
        • Developing and fostering strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers

          You'll demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

          • The ability to create and deliver a strong customer focus culture, and a collaborative approach to develop client relationships
            • Strong collaboration and communication skills
              • Proven track record in developing a culture that supports Health and Safety management, encouraging and rewarding excellence.
                • Proven successful Contract Management experience ideally within Road Maintenance, Utilities and/or Construction
                  • Tertiary qualification, preferably in Business Management or Civil Engineering
