This is a leading project management consultancy built on long standing relationships that was established five years ago. The Director is a guru in the corporate interiors space with multiple networks and contacts ensuring significant word of mouth referrals and repeat business. Job values range between $100K - $4M with an average of $700K and with many international brands as clients. They also have another growing division of major building refurbishments that involve structural work and seismic strenthening projects with values between $10M - $15M. They partner with a reputable developer with high presence in the Auckland CBD. They have a team of 8 PM's with a Head of Projects.
This role reports to Head of Projects and has around 7 PM's reporting to you.
Due to significant growth, they now require a switched on leader with mana to facilitate and co ordinate projects ensuring successful delivery.
The role will be 60% of work entail tenancy fit outs and landlord base build upgrades of values between $500k - $3m. The other 40% larger building refurbishment projects up to $15M. As an applicant you need to have advanced knowledge and significant experience of the construction/fit out industry with sound knowledge of contracts. You will be leading projects and inteacting with clients so personality and inspiring confidence with clients is key. You need to be able to push a team, make decisions with conviction and solve problems as they arise.
