Job description

Our client in the government sector is seeking a Senior Project Coordinator for a contract through till December 2020!

This role is based in Trentham and our client will be happy to wait 4-6 weeks for the right candidate. So, if you are in a permanent role and would like to go contracting, this role will be great for you.

They require an experienced, competent coordinator who is proactive, and able to work with initiative, and across a large team.

Support this project to include, but not limited to:

  • Maintenance and coordination of core project management registers and documentation, including, risks and issues registers, dependencies registers, schedules and other;
  • Coordination of project reporting, including initiation, drafting and submission;
  • Coordination of and preparation for project management meetings; and
  • Provision of project administration and other general support to workstreams, as required. Specifications


Core Skills - Must be a very competent Project Coordinator with a well-developed core skill set, including:

  • Coordination and provision of support to the updating of core project artefacts (Risk and issue registers, dependency registers, schedule etc);
  • Management and coordination of project meetings, including Secretariat support;
  • Project reporting – initial draft, coordination and submission; and
  • Financial coordination and reporting. 
  • Responsibility for owning and leading the development, and maintenance of project reports, registers and other artefacts, through to completion.
  • Prior knowledge of Planview project management and reporting tool would be is desirable.
