My client is a well known New Zealand organisation based in the heart of the Auckland CBD. They are looking for a highly commercial finance professional. They have the scale and size to provide multiple ongoing career development opportunities

The Role

As a senior business partner your role is to build commercial relationships with senior leaders throughout the business, providing financial support and leadership across their business units ensuring commercial decisions receive support and risk assessment. The business Partner will take the financial lead on key projects whilst mentoring the business around financial concepts. Commercial skills will also include the ability to negotiate and influence key non-financial stakeholders, providing fact based information ensuring development and commercial opportunities are maximised.

About you

You will be financially astute with superior communication and relationship building skills. Clearly you will commercially focused with experience coming from within financial services such as Banking or insurance.

You will have experience in:

• Developing and creating Business Plans
• Project management / support
• Building Business cases
• Tertiary qualified with ideally CA, CIMA or equivelant
• Communicating financial information to non-financial stakeholders
