Our client is a high-profile Auckland organisation that is steeped in history.
They are currently seeking a senior financial accountant that is ready to take the next step in their career. Initially working as the 2IC to the CFO and then moving into managing the finance team and sharing responsibility for the successful transition of the finance function and continue to deliver high quality reporting.
This role will require you to take responsibility for the day to day financial management of the organisation, liaise with the external auditors and prepare the annual budgets. Oversee payroll and administration and take ownership of the fixed assets register.
You will be CA qualified and have strong technical accounting skills understanding the complete lifecycle of preparing financial statements and annual reports.
You must have outstanding communication skills, enjoy working in a collaborative environment and bring along your sense of humour. This is a role that is a real team environment but will offer plenty of scope to develop your technical skills along with the opportunity for leadership.
