Reporting to the Manager Finance and Risk, the Senior Compliance and Operational Risk Analyst duties will include reviewing existing policies and compliance processes, develop company policy, and respond to any breaches or variations. Reviewing the organsiation's Risk Management Policy ensuring that operational risk and compliance monitoring and management remains appropriate.

Key ownership and responsibilities will include:

• Implement and manage an effective legal compliance program.
• Develop and manage the operational risk and compliance system and related models, ensuring they are reliable, align with best practice and are available when required.
• Develop and review company policies, including ensuring that the risk Register is maintained and updated within the required timeframes.
  Advise management of compliance with laws and regulations through detailed reports.
• Create and manage effective action plans in response to audit discoveries and compliance violations.
• Regularly audit company procedures, practices, and documents to identify possible weaknesses or risk.
• Ensure all employees are educated on the latest regulations and processes.

The types of experience you’ll bring to the role:

• A proven track record and ability to identify and communicate operational and compliance related issues within a work programme to employees and key stakeholders.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including a demonstrated ability to think analytically about issues and express ideas clearly.
• Versed in project and process disciplines.
• Business or management graduate with considerable experience in risk and finance in either the private or public sector.
