  • Strategic and tactical communications to support the organisation
  • Get involved in all communication matters, internally and externally

A great permanent opportunity for a Senior Communications Advisor to join this effective and dynamic communications team for a Crown entity.

You will:

  • Prepare presentations, reports and briefing documents for senior management
  • Manage and direct media enquiries, escalating is appropriately
  • Work collaboratively in the development of communications plans
  • Identify relevant key messaged end aid in delivering communications activity schedule
  • Work as part of a team to write and develop content for various channels such as newsletter, intranets and briefings by the Director
  • Provide strategic and tactical news media responses and media support

Key skills needed:

  • 3 – 5 years’ experience in public sector communications
  • Tertiary qualification or work experience or sound industry knowledge
  • Experience needed with preparing presentations, briefing documents, written reports, media releases and communications strategies
  • Media monitoring and analysis experience
  • Internal communications experience needed
  • A good understanding of SharePoint and file manage systems
