Job description

As the Senior Business Partner, this role is pivotal in providing influential strategic commercial and financial advice and support to their allocated programme team.

The role will create a real and active trusted partnership where real time' information and analysis is provided, you are sought by the Group as a trusted business and financial advisor and you add critical value that will assist in good quality decision making. The role will act not only as a trusted partner but also as a trusted challenger of thinking providing fresh insight and information to the business and actively and robustly challenging their thinking to ensure they make the best decision the organisation to deliver its strategy.

The role is accountable for enabling their programme to effectively develop and deliver on the strategy and associated delivery work plans. This is done by providing advice and constructively challenging thinking based on insight developed from a strong knowledge of business, current macro- and microeconomic trends, industry trends, and potential new business opportunities. Further the role will work across the Group to develop their effective business and financial management capability and approach across the group to maximise the business outcome from the resources available.

Critical to the role’s success is an ability to communicate their message, to understand their audience and deliver the information in a clear and user-friendly manner.
