My client is a specialist in intelligent factory engineering and is looking for a Mandarin speaking, Sales Support Engineer to join their New Zealand based team and be the conduit between here and the China based Sales Teams.

Do you have an engineering background, ideally customer facing and have had exposure to working in Corporate Chinese businesses? We want to hear from you today!

To be a successful applicant you must:

• Be fluent in English and Mandarin (including reading, writing and verbal)
• Have the ability to translate technical/engineering materials written in both English and Mandarin
• Obtain strong technical ability
• Experience working overseas in a Chinese Corporate customer facing role
• Desirably have an engineering background
• Have some sales experience
• Have business or system analyst experience
• Be a highly skilled computer user
• Be a Permanent Citizen or Permanent Resident of New Zealand

In this role, your duties will be:

• To examine how customer requirements can align with the business capabilities
• Negotiate customer technical expectations to sit within budget expectations
• Explore and promote solutions to achieve customer satisfaction
• Ensure sales systems are maintained
• Required to travel to China and assist their Sales Team around 4 times per year
