Our client is a leader in the essential services sector and a new role has been created to drive growth and lead and support a small sales team in the lower North Island. This is an integral role for the company and this position works closely with the National Field Sales Manager. The role is based in Wellington primarily.

The role:

  • Account Management and ensure contractual requirements are being met
  • Business Development with existing and new clients
  • Manage, support and lead a field sales team
  • Complete a variety of reports and analysis
  • Manage team performance and carry out on going coaching
  • Write tenders and proposal documents
  • Resolving customer issues

The successful candidate will have the following skills and attributes: 

  • Ideally a minimum of years’ experience in people management
  • A background in a service sector is helpful but not essential
  • Experience in strategic analysis and development
  • A background of writing tenders and proposal documents
  • A passion and proven success for business development
  • A high level of business acumen
  • Clear and concise communication both written and verbal
  • Ability to travel outside of Wellington up to 5 nights a month
  • NZ resident or Citizen
