Our client, are a major manufacturer of floor coverings are seeking an experienced Sales Consultant with ‘fire in their belly’ to nurture and build upon existing relationships along with further developing the customer base.

The role:

• Building Relationships with Architects to get products specified
• Dealing with contractors, Architects, Designers and Specifiers on an ongoing basis
• Presentations to groups of people on the organisations products and services
• To maintain samples and technical information

The successful candidate will have the following skills and attributes:

• Proven achievements in business development across preferably across the building sector
• A history of external sales achievements within the commercial sector ideally
• A background managing a call cycle
• Experience with Architects, specifiers or Contractors beneficial but not essential
• A resilient and 'can do' attitude yet patience in letting relationships grow and develop
• A team player yet someone who can work well autonomously
• The ability to present to a group of people confidently and articulately
