The opportunity

We are on the lookout for an experienced manager with an entrepreneurial mind to lead our team and develop individuals to their fullest potential. This is an exciting opportunity for a Sales and Installations Manager who enjoys building team culture, tackling challenges and strategizing growth to ensure positive results and working environment.

Based in Wellington and reporting into the National Commercial and Residential Manager your primary objective will be to manage your team to deliver our Strategy both through effective Sales Management and through monitoring our ability to meet customer expectations for Installation requirements.

Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Provide leadership to your team to ensure we offer and achieve efficient and timely delivery of all Installation matters
  • Be the driver of a 'can do attitude' culture and ensure your team upholds company and team values
  • Creates an environment that embraces change, makes change happen, and helps others to accept new ideas
  • Strategize and guide the business to meet/exceed targets established whilst minimising business costs and maximising profit and growth potential
  • Proactive management of client base to maintain key relationships and identify opportunities to grow the business
  • Overseeing the tendering and project management processes including overall responsibility for labour and contract labour
  • Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the glazing department, including quality, productivity, equipment maintenance, cost management and on time delivery of products to the customers

    To be considered for this position you must have:

    • Minimum 3 years' Sales experience in a similar role with proven operational management skills
    • Strong market knowledge of the construction industry (Glass would be a bonus)
    • Ability to lead and develop a team
    • You view challenges as opportunities and approach any situation with a proactive attitude
    • Track record of building and nurturing relationships with internal and external stakeholders
    • Strong focus on customer service
    • Proactive record on safety, quality, engagement and performance management
