Our client, a civil contractor has several opportunities in their current crews. We are seeking Asphalt workers and General labourers to assist their crews. These roles will include some long days.

The main focus of the role will be assisting the crew in a range of activities, which can include but not limited to: loading and unloading trucks of materials and machinery, moving machinery, labouring and road surfacing.

Experience in the civil industry would be an advantage however not essential. If you can handle the hot working conditions and are physically fit and capable of the demands of the role we want to hear from you.

A health and safety focus is crucial for this position.

To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate the following:

* Be able to think on your feet

* Reliable transport to get to work everyday

* Not afraid to get your hands dirty

* Provide a minimum of two work related referees

* Have good people skills and take direction well

* Ability to work in a small team, and have the initiative to work alone

* Take responsibility for your own work.

* Keen to learn new skills

* A want to do a great job every day

* Asphalt experience would be advantageous
